Day 14 "God's Valentine Card for You"


The Valentine's Day card-a fundamental and staple expression of love that has been given and received throughout the years.

We give a card to our spouse, our boyfriend or girlfriend, our children and grandchildren, to friends who are dear to us, elementary classmates, and to all the other people in our lives that we wish to express particular thankfulness for playing a special part in our lives and to let them know how special they are to us. The Bible is God's word for us, a Valentine of love, communicating throughout its pages God's love for us and His desire to for us to know how special we are to Him. His desire is to have an intimate special relationship with each one of us. For anyone out there who feels alone and forgotten, may this be great and comforting words to uplift you. Be assured that God knows you, is aware of you, loves you, and wants a relationship with you!


"I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness."

"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5


"For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes

in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the

world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:16-17


"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.

Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life." Psalms 143:8


"I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that

the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them." John 17:26


"For I have been crucified with Christ and no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The

life that I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave

himself for me." Galatians 2:20


"And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love may have power, together

with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the

love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge- that you may be filled

"May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance."

Let not your heart be hardened today. It is so easy to be sucked into the mindset of a temporary world placing great emphasis on performance, self-indulgence, and self-focus.

Be still, calm your heart, and listen: There is a love greater than your hardships to bring you rest and encouragement; There is a love great enough to comfort you in your times of loneliness and despair; There is a love so great in depth of forgiveness and mercy that there is nothing you have ever done or ever could do that would warrant God turning His back on you; There is a love so great that it can permeate and break though your mindset of self-hatred and self-criticism, pouring out a message loud and clear, "You matter!"


In a world of emotionally broken people, you are not alone. How difficult it is to love and give to others when we are so desperately in need of it for ourselves. So please take a moment or two to listen inward and shut out the voices of the world. Look upward outside of this world's mindset and in a spirit of hope and anticipation, visualize looking at your life from an eternal perspective. There is a message awaiting you in God's Valentine delivered by Jesus himself:


Jesus Loves You As You Are!

Can you bring into focus, the term "Eternal Perspective". What does eternity look like, what will we be doing in the years of eternity? Is Eternity another word for Heaven and then what will Heaven be like? The feeling of love and it's warm embrace seem to get lost in the vastness of eternity. What is Eternity? A life sentence in prison can seem like eternity.
